History & Mission

Central Alcoholic Foundation Inc. was founded in 1987 as a sober living facility for men needing a safe place to transition from treatment or incarceration.  Over the past 30 years, this place has provided many recovering alcoholics with the necessary means in which to become a productive member of society again. Now, under new management, we hope to uphold its tradition for many years to come.
It is our mission to provide our residents  accountability and support to build a foundation for long-term recovery

while staying grounded in the principles of 12-step recovery. We believe this can bring about the change necessary to go on to experience a sober and productive life.

Structure and Support

While living at Central House you'll have the support of a solid group of men actively working the 12 Step Program. This type of community living  will help you get through the challenges of early recovery.  Having a social circle full of good influences during this stage of your sobriety reduces isolation and greatly improves your chances of staying sober long term
Education and Employment Opportunities

Your success and career are important to us! Our aim is to help you meet your goals by providing assistance with job interview skills, resume preparation, researching job opportunities, and developing educational plans for residents who wish to begin or continue higher education.
Accountability

Structured schedules, substance-free community rules, weekly house meetings, and an environment focused on accountability help clients succeed in their sobriety. We also provide on-site house managers and off-site support staff to ensure that each sober living home remains safe, substance-free, and accountable giving residents  the perfect environment to structure their new lives with a solid foundation in recovery.
